Grandma always impressed on me the importance of having children. Even though I wasn't sure whether I wanted to or not, I always thought it was a lovely reflection of how important her children were to her. Finally I listened to her and on 20th June 2020 Fern was born. Despite restrictions and distancing we managed to take the right precautions and in August she was able to cuddle Fern for the first and only time. While we are really sad they won't have more time together, Im so grateful she had chance to meet Fern and see that we are happy, and she was right all along!
